Does anyone have any experience with these heads? My old genuine VW single port heads need a fair bit of work and I’ve managed to pick up some new unused Pacific Parts International repro heads for good price but am not sure whether to use them for my 1776 or get my original heads cleaned up? The new head castings are not as nice as the old genuine ones. Many thanks in advance! |

back in about 2005 PPI had some repro SP heads before AA made theirs. The casting was really rough and the valves were kinda strange. The few that sold had issues with keepers and springs.
I do not remember any casting numbers but its been a while. Are yours the AA or older castings? Post up some pics _________________ Grapes of Wrath $200 Engine Rebuild
