|
|
Been reading the balljoint thread,
My tie rods are in good condition but the boots are split,
rather then buy tie rods that are not as good quality as OEM
Has anyone replaced the boots w new or poly boobs?
thank you! _________________ ABYC marine master technician , EX European auto technician, new business- EASTCOASTWEST , custom work on campers, only systems, no mechanical |

Poly ones are really expensive and require a professional to install; new ones are near impossible to purchase |

I installed polyurethane boots on my ball joints and tie rod ends on my Thing a few years back. Not necessarily an easy job but it does not require a professional. I purchased mine through Jegs (Energy Suspension). _________________ '74 Thing

For poly boobs a professional is needed. _________________ Dave O
