Most diesel injection pump repair shops can repair turbos, or at least find you a new center section. What is wrong with it?

Look up Turbo Rebuild.co.uk, I bought a brand new full Borg Warner unit a couple years ago from them, they ship in 3 days for super cheap to the US, I dunno how they do it.

Do a part number search on eBay. Eastern Europe is on the forefront of turbo rehabilitation. The 1.9 AAZ is the Small Block V8 of Europe.

The center section is all loose I had a guy look at it. Said to just get a new one. Leaking oil as well.

its pretty trivial to rebuild these units, you may look into that. might take you an hour or so.

i rebuilt the little k03 on our tdi with a ~$40 or so kit from ebay. new center bushing, all the little seals and clips and whatnot.
you just have to find the kit that matches your center housing.

lots of DIY videos online as well, theyre quite simple to take apart just mark the orientation of the compressor wheel and the turbine/shaft

Locate a compressor wheel and housing from an early/mid 80s Volvo 240 or 740 and install that on your new turbo.
Turn the boost up to about 10psi.
You'll love it.

OK, your bearings need replacement.. Did the aluminum compressor hit the aluminum housing? If not, buy new bearings and seals.
