Brake clips issue

40 years old "white" clip vs. new black clip.
I have a 81 mod. vanagon and want to replace all brake lines and brake clips front to rear from brake mastercylinder and back to the trailing arm. But there is an issue with new black clips. The distance A-B and C-D are not similar and i have to put a washer on new clips. 3/16" brake line pops out of place if i dont use a washer between chassi and plastic clips. I have already bought new clips from 3 different supplier, and it seems to be oem style, made by vw but i cant use them without a washer, and dont want to use a washer... What to do?

Maybe check with a member with 3D printing ability?
See if they can copy the original.

Uniwerks springs to mind.......
