Hello all, I have a 1980 Westfalia in pretty rough shape, but got it for a good price.
Anyways, the last time I brought myself to get some work done on it, I seem to have removed a hose, and not only didn't replace it, but didn't leave the old one anywhere. I found a pic and put arrows pointing to the hoses in question, and while it has been found they are for directing airflow, I'm at a loss for what part I can use to replace them, namely the little white/black disc on the left side.
A separate question, on the left of my engine, there is a little green box with 2 connections on bottom, but they haven't been connected to anything since I bought the van. I placed a green circle where it is located approximately in my van.Though if this needs to be a seperate post, I can do that. This is actually my first post here! |

Disc shaped valve is the Deceleration Valve if I remember right, and is only on the manual transmission equipped vehicles, I think. _________________ '68 Westy- my first VW and vehicle/Bus- long gone.- sold it to a traveling Swiss couple....
