NASA Racing at VIR in Southern VA. on May the 15th, supper at Aunt Millie's in Milton NC, a town that appears to be stuck in the middle of the 19th century!
Millie's is all of 1/2 mile from VIR. The next day, Sunday the 16th is the "Fast Times At Farmington" featured in the June issue of DB&HVWs! Farmington is 1.5 hrs. southwest of Milton and VIR, just west of Winston-Salem NC. VIR is at the border of Halifax Co. Va. and Pittsylvania Co Va. and Caswell Co. NC. The oldest things to see in Olde Milton is the graveyard populated by veterans of the revolutionary war, civil war, WW1 and 2,etc. Milton is 10 miles southeast of the Confederacy's last capital, Danville, Va. and about 70 miles southwest of Appomattox surrender grounds where Robert E. Lee surrendered the Army of Northern Va. to conclude the War of Northern Agression. Much to see in this area! Plenty of non-ethanol gas in the area! _________________ '73 super. |

I was going to go to Farmington but something else has arisen that takes precedent. _________________ Volkswagen!
