What gauge wiring should be used for a hard start relay on a 6v Beetle?
10ga?
12ga?
Thanks. |

The relay goes between the starter solenoid and the ignition switch, so 16ga is fine. _________________ Glenn

yes 16 ga. can be used from the ignition switch to one side of the coil of the 'hard start' relay. The other side of the 'hard start' relay connection should be 16 ga also. The battery connection and the starter solenoid connection on the 'hard start' relay should be at least 12 ga. _________________ Daily driver: '69 Baja owned 44 yrs - Plan B: '81 Rabbit Diesel LS Deluxe - Plan C: '72 Ghia
