I've searched on this but still not sure what's what. Some are saying that solid handles were used only in '66 & '67. In the classifieds, handles advertised for a '67 are cored-out, and WTBs are looking for '55-'62 solid door handles

So, what's the story on the solid-back door handles? Anyone know for sure what model years had these? My '67 Ghia has one of each...

| I stripped down a '67 door just yesterday. It had a hollow door handle. |

Hmmmm.....
My 67 has solid handles. I think they are original to the car.

| I know my 67 handles are original and they are solid. Hope this helps. |

Thanks for the input everyone. Looks like at least the '67s seem to have come with solid handles.
I'm looking for a solid left-side handle for my '67 if anyone knows of one that's available.
