This came with a bunch of VW parts I bought but no other carburetor stuff:

Is this from a Kadron or ?

If any measurements are needed let me know.

The brass-colored throat plate in the photo is 35mm in diameter.

Pretty sure its the bottom throttle body section of a solex off a'72ish bay with dual carbs. 1700 or 1800 T4.

Definitely looks similar but slightly different and they don't have the spring?

I did think maybe it was Solex though so that is a good suggestion and maybe close?

There were two different versions. One had the horrible central vac. setup, the others didn't.

I never bothered to learn all the little differences. It was much easier to just bolt on IDF's and drive away. Very Happy

Not a stock bus carb part, none have springs, and what's that pressed in disc for?

I believe its a T3 Solex carb throttle plate.

I think I have a few like that in my stash. I think they came of some PDSIT 34-36? Bus carbs..
