So, I'm fitting a set of JPM 48 IDA clones on my 2180. I have a dog house FS.
While mocking this up. I noticed that the FS will interfere with the fuel line connections to the carbs.
What's the best way to move forward?
AN lines and connectors?
Modify the FS? I really don't want to do a mod. But if I have to. So be it!
I'm looking for suggestions on how to tackle this issue. _________________ I have learned over the years.

You can run a rubber hose or braided instead. Could even piece it together.
You may be able to put the banjo on top, don’t remember if it is the same size thread. |

Mine fit so it must be the manifolds that cause them to be too close.

Mill the flanges so it sits at another angle, mod the shroud, or
add spacers under either flange _________________ "A petrol engine can start readily, run smoothly and give every appearance of being in good order, without necessarily being in good tune." - Colin Campbell, "The Sportscar Engine" |

TBH. I eyeballed the location of the fuel inlets over the cylinder tins. It looks like they will interfere with the FS.
I'll pull the carbs and JayCee manifolds tonight and mount the FS to see if there really is an issue.
Or my bent eyes are fooling me.
Up here in the PNW. We get lots of rain. So the need for the cabin heat is a must.
That's why I'd rather not switch to a 36HP FS. _________________ I have learned over the years.
