Question about headlight switch connector

I have a speedster replica that i want to use 356 escutcheon/bezels and bakelite knobs with and for the wiper it works fine but to use the headlight switch we need the round connector with pins sonwe could then take the incoming harness spade connectors and splice to fit. I checked for a vw switch only to find same round bakelite switch but with spade terminals. Not sure what to do ill be taking a picture shortly of the switch if i didn't explain it correctly
