Is this part being reproduced in alloy or does anyone have good one for sale?
I know they are available in steel, it's a good alloy one that I am looking for.
I would like four of the correct slotted and countersunk screws as well if possible.

znal is a zinc alloy with aluminium, sometimes plus magnesium and copper, used in making die cast items such as carb bodies, toy cars etc. think non europeans would know it better as zamac _________________ "we're here on Earth to fart around" kurt vonnegut

That's where the ones that I have came from and they are steel. Simply tested, a magnet sticks to them and they rust! _________________ Rod,

Could it be possible to modify from the later catch? |
Simple answer Mika is that I don't know as I don't have a later one to compare.
If anyone else can answer please do. _________________ Rod,

That's an interesting looking striker. I've never seen this style before. What years used this version? _________________ My Beetles :
