OK got that how about the door opener?

There should be a small screw behind the interior door handle. You can see it better if you pull the handle to open the door...

If you have the chrome trim piece around the door release handle, there may be a plastic 'cup' just behind the pull handle, wedge that out, you will see the small screw behind the handle which holds the chrome trim, remove that, remove chrome piece, pry door panel off. There are several little tabs around the perimeter of the panel held in place at holes in the door.

Jeff

OK thanks I'll see if I can pry that piece off. Just being over careful as parts are hard to find so I ask first. Thanks for the info. all.

The plastic will lift away from a metal frame that lies beneath it. Use a small flat tip screwdriver covered with tape, to pry away either side of the base. The plastic cover pops up pretty easily uncovering a screw in the center of the metal base.

How do you remove the plastic covers on window crank and door latch to access the screws so door panel can be removed on a 70 coupe? Manual say's pry off but where do you pry? Thanks
