Greetings fellow petrolheads.
I never thought I'd find myself posting in a VW forum, but hey, things change.
I got my first beetle a little over a year ago, it's a 1965 1200 Sedan.
After that the corona disaster struck and I didn't touch the car until last week.
So I've started this new project and I'm already starting to love it.
Of course a lot of work needs to be done and I actually aim quite low regarding the final outcome, as I know my car is in pretty bad shape and I wouldn't want to spend a fortune on it.
So here it is:
I've already bought myself a donor car (this is my usual way of dealing with renovations) - '61 serial but pretty mixed actually, which is in a better shape than the '65 but cannot get license plates etc because it has been formally recycled, so serial is destroyed.
