So tomorrow I take a shot at the headliner on my pretty blue fastback. I have a new headliner from ISP and the original bows and clips. I will be picking up a mess of clips as soon as Office Depot opens. Any recommendations for adhesive? Something from 3M?

I just cleaned the bows up with sand-paper and gave them a shot of self-etching primer. They will be ready by tomorrow.

Of the six bows, 5 are the same length and the sixth is longer. So this is a type-3 fastback specific question.

What should I have for breakfast?

Max

I know it's a PITA to find anything in my build thread,
But i wrote up the whole thing..

There's some pitfalls, like what glue to use, etc.
And i fell over most of them..

Around Page 158.. Maybe there's some before there as well. Think

Thanks. I've slowly been reading through and making my own collection of topic links into your thread. On this page you have links into some other writeups on headliner installation:

So today the majority of the headliner work got done. Need some carpet felt for the rear corners.

Those binder clips I see most people use kept popping off. Used these instead. Better.

Thanks guys! I had the excellent help of someone who has done this before.

Still need to finish the rear corners. Going out for some carpet felt after breakfast. I'm leaving the B pillars till later but the focus short-term is getting the windshield and rear windows in. Then the body goes back on the chassis.

No access to the car today so I'm going to put the seal and trim on the rear window. Windshield is ready to be roped in.
