How about the "VW measurement unit"?
How many times have we heard of something compared to the size of a Volkswagen?
Without using words, this photo does exactly that, comparing the size of the Gatling-style autocannon from the A-10 Warthog.

I want one of those  WOuld be better if someone mounted one ontop of a vw.
I guess when comparing dick sizes, .012 of a beetle should be the national average.
