|
|
Hi folks,
Working on our '68 Beetle last night we noticed that the driver's side of the rear door sill has a plug while the passenger side's plug is missing. Possibly for access to the heater channel?
I haven't had much luck searching for them - probably because I don't know the name. Could someone please enlighten me?
TIA!

My ‘68 does not have these plugs on either side. It’s original but a RHD but that shouldn’t matter.
It could have been added by a PO to help pulling a new wire through the channel? _________________ 1968 1500 RHD Lotus White Beetle since birth. In the hospital for major surgery

That looks like something Ziebart, or another rust preventative service would do, VW didn't put them there.
Maybe something close here? https://www.mcmaster.com/hole-plugs/ _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.
