Ran a few errands before work today. Put my blinker on to exit the expressway and engine starts to stumble. WTH? I keep feathering the gas, I'm less than a half mike from home. Pull in open the deck lid and here's what I saw.

Can I get that put back without pulling the carb?

How bizarre for an idle fuel jet from the right side of the carb to end up on the left side engine tin. Well, maybe not, it just bounced off the generator.

Anyway, The engine should not run much, if at all, at idle with this missing. That's appears to be an H30/31PICT carburetor, which has two parallel idle circuits, so you only lost half of it, but that's enough to throw everything off. The two idle fuel jets go under/between the choke heating element and the vacuum pull-off diaphragm, on the right side of the carb. So, you need to install it from above the generator.

I do not know how to fix this. All I can say is it all works fine for me with what I use, Firefox.

Maybe look at that green condenser wire and secure it away from the oil pressure light switch before it rubs through.

Thanks, fellas!

I did pick it up and checked it out real quick. Threads looked fine nothing caught my eye. I have to work today a 12hr 10a-10p. So I didn't spend anytime with it. I didn't let it get to close to idle, I didn't want it to die. I was super pressed for time.

I'm on it first thing tomorrow.

Just got back from a show & swap. Ran great! The coil wire wasn't anywhere near rubbing but, thanks for pointing it out. I took the opportunity to reroute and crimp some new ends on some of the wiring.
The jet went right in without any issue. Thanks for pointing out it belongs on the right side of the carb.
Beautiful breezy 80° day!

The crazy thing about that jet falling out the last time I drove it it was idling somewhat poorly, but not horribly.
