“Jaeger IPA” electric fuel gauge - anyone ever seen one?

“Jaeger IPA” electric fuel gauge - anyone ever seen one? It was installed in what I believe to be the stock 1969 speedometer in my 1969 beetle.

It has no vibrator and appears to have a factory ground strap, and you can see coils in it instead of bi-metal components so I assume it is electric and does not require a vibrator?

it's a late model mexican indicator, they need no vibrator.
