I lived in England for a few years for work. Our company decided we should have a game of cricket. I hate that game.. so boring. Never played it before, but I played a hell of a lot of hurling, our super Irish sport. So when it was my turn to bat, the bowler, a South African guy into cricket and suspecting I might hit the ball decided to go full professional on the bowl... which got me in the spirit and I lashed the ball straight back into his head by accident lol. He was lying down for a long time. I retired from the game on the grounds that it was too dangerous for me to play and spent 2hrs supping beer in the club house... Cricket is not a sport in my opinion, just a pack of wankers as you pointed out.
