|
|
Digging through some old parts I found these Bosch Platinum spark plugs (WR9DP). According to some internet searching, I should be getting plugs that are medium range 'heat" but these are hot according to the 9 in the plug ID. Bosch goes up to 10, which their hottest tip.
I purchased these in the late 80's to tune up my Mazda GLC (hateful car), but I must never have installed them. In any case, these have been with me for more than 30 years! Given the age, the fact that they are too hot (out of spec for a vanagon) what I should I do with them?

Goodwill or garage sale. Someone will use them.
On a side note, I just paid $27.95 each for plugs for my X5. Go figure. The days of the $2 plug are gone. _________________ 89 Westy 2.1 Auto |

Auto parts want $14.00+ for NGK's, but you can order direct from NGK for $4.60 per plugs. _________________ This free advice is worth exactly what you paid for it.
There are seven days in a week. Someday is not one of them. |
