Hi, Can anyone please advise how to wire this? Needle pings straight to the top so I'm doing something wrong! It's in a 12v split bus

Thank you.

Might try directly to Motometer.... They may have something in their archives... Could not find anything about any vintage stuff on their web page...

Could be worth checking the Cylinders (Zahl) tag is actually connected to the '4' stud.

The silver plating looks oxidised.

After a long time, capacitors may dry up or start leaking. Maybe need to find an old style TV repair shop or radio ham person who can look at a circuit board without schematics and identify likely components.

If nothing else, if the meter movement is working, you could find another cheap analog gauge, replace the internal circuitry and recalibrate the output for the meter in that nice Autometer, most likely by changing one scaling resistor value.
