Nice thread idea! I think Youtube busaru (boxerswaps) was one of the biggest helps in my swap.

I used this radiator, but i dont think its necessary to be specific, although this is the only radiator Steve Lopez uses, and he has done quit a bit. http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Speedway-Chevy-SBC-B...oCpaPw_wcB

The two Subaru-VW facebook groups can be a valuable resource

Thats all I got for now.

Thanks for putting all that together.

May I suggest changing the name of the thread to "Subaru/Watercooled Swap Resources and Information?"

Great start with tons of info.
Sticky or even better would be forum section for conversions. Lots of bug & vanagon people with conversions that would have info to share.
Hate to see this get buried. It was already 3 pages deep.

Updated some info and started adding pictures. I tried to give credit to anyone's photos that I borrowed.

Please let me know if you would like me to remove any for any reason. It seems easier to ask for forgiveness than permission from so many people.

I am kind of glad to see that more folks are interested in these conversions. I think it will become a popular way to power these old girls for years to come. if done right, the truly are minimally invasive as well
