Long time reader first time poster!!! I inherited my dad's red convertible 1971 super beetle, which he purchased new. I'm mostly having professionals work on it because i don't have the patience to learn everything from scratch and just want to drive it, but would like to be able to do little things myself. The horn isn't working since my mechanic was working on the car. I hadn't noticed any issues with it prior. he said it was unlikely he'd fouled something up but "I did tighten those connections on the back of the cluster.
I’m out of town next week, but could look at it the following week.". Is checking the connections on the back of the cluster something i can do myself instead of waiting two weeks?
Thanks in advance! |

Yes! Super easy! You can do it. _________________ Jimbo

Do you know of a previous thread that explains where to look and what to do? Thank you! |
