Hello Forum,

Have an 84 Westy. Planning a road trip soon and would like to purchase a cargo hitch carrier.

Anyone have any suggestions on brand and style.

Just storing some rain proof containers to keep the van clean inside.

My Harbor Freight carrier that I cut down so it wouldn't be tall enough to interfere with my tire carrier swinging out.

I also use an anti rattle with locking hitch pin.

I installed a front receiver hitch on my 86.

Initially I worried about airflow and cooling but that turned out to be a non issue. Multiple tris across the Country and there were no temperature issues at all.
