To be sure, except for the throw out bearing, all other issues I had were all old worn out parts. The “newly” built engine performed awesomely! Thanks! Cool

I don't know if this counts but it's looking through the windshields, of me looking through the windshields. My bud took this last weekend on the way to a cruise-in/hang out at a brewery.

Do you know where the Sauerweins were from? It is a familiar last name in my home town in germany.

They lived in several places in the USA. I can ask him where his ancestry comes from next time I see him. The trip was after he had finished his grad school at MIT. They saved up all their money, and bought a brand new bus and toured Europe for 3 months over 11,000 miles. They kept the bus for a few years, but they eventually had to get something with more power and seat belts in the back once they started having kids.

so true Thomas, my bad ! Embarassed
Thats when you sell your running truck and get a shitload full of projects, that will take years and years to become roadworthy. that hobbytime taken away from driving other collector cars. so basically thats what I am doing instead of driving around and watching the world go bye from inside a split screen... Laughing

all joking aside, it's really annoying me. thats why it's so great to at least see everybodys great roadtrip views out their split screens. it is motivating !
