56 Bonnet (hood) latch popping open?

Hi all ,
Probably a common question, I’ve finished rebuilding my 56 oval but I’m finding after a drive out the bonnet lock is popping open?
I’ve cleaned/ greased the pin and spring and lubed the catch on the body .
The cable is all nice and free and when the car is static you can pull the bonnet handle ( when it’s locked) and it’s real tight , doesn’t budge .
I’m thinking maybe the lock on the body is worn , any ideas?

Sounds like you need to adjust the upper latch pin.
