I’m looking to gut a 40hp oil bath, shorten the snout and leave 60mm of the internal stack as per Alstrup. The issue I have is not knowing what aftermarket air filter insert/pod filter will fit inside the housing to keep it looking stock and still have enough room to draw enough air in between the lid and top of the stack. The offset stack position in the 40hp oil bath I know limits me a bit. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance!
