Some of the Mexican had a throttle body fuel injection. That could be what it is. _________________ Volkswagen: We tune what we drive.

Looks like an ACD engine to me (last generation of the fuel injected engines [93-04])
Definitely a very late model; I would guess an '03 (late '03), it looks like an Ultima Edicion ('04), but they had a badge on the glovebox (although that could have been removed or fallen off).
Could be a 'repan', rebuilt onto a '69 pan registered as such. There are a lot of those in the US. You would have to inspect the car to be sure it's a repan and not a VIN swap. _________________ 1971 Super Beetle (past)

Now that is an ugly fat chick, LOL! I like the older ones... That car is not desirable to me at all (not a very good scam? ) But to each his own...
Los Feliz is actually very close to where I live. The one picture does look like the neighborhood in the background. It doesn't seem like a scam but the person might not speak much English hence the shitty short description.
Best way to find out if it's a scam is try to simply try meet up and look at the car... you'll know pretty quick if there's any funny business. _________________ 1967 Bug ( the daily rod )
