I replaced my NAPA 100 Ah house battery that was located under the sink with a Go Westy 50Ah lithium battery. I put the new battery under the drivers seat. I liked the cost about $360 delivered to Maine, its really light compared to the same size lead acid battery and it is small enough so there is plenty of room. It even sits upright.
I have a couple of questions though. How many volts can you safely discharge it to? Also the voltage when driving hangs around 13.4 volts where as the lead acid voltage showed 13.9-14.0 volts. |

That's mainly depending on the battery BMs setting - I'd ask GoWesty for such.

For proper charging off the alternator, you will likely be best served by a DC-DC Charger. Plenty here like the RedArc brand. Victron has a pretty reasonable DC-DC charger available. Sorry, I'm not experienced enough to make a model recommendation. _________________ John - 86 Wolfsburg Westfalia "Weekender"

Only required if you want to do it correctly, you'll be hard pressed to get it to charge without |

I have these batteries - the discharge/charging specs are on the GW website where the battery is listed in one of the tabs on that page _________________ 1967 Double Cab
