This thread will be for asking questions about rewiring my 72 westy. The connectors are old and are all falling off, and there are dozens of cut wires from prior owners or neglect or both. Not having it.
I have a new main harness.
First question: is there a place I can find a blade style under dash fuse panel that is made for the T2 bay window bus? I cant stand bullet style fuses.

I don’t think anyone makes one specifically for buses. But nothing stopping you from using a generic 12 fuse holder like this https://www.amazon.com/MICTUNING-12-Way-Holder-Vehicle-Marine/dp/B07W11JDTF/
Just beware that changing the wiring from stock creates huge headaches for future owners. So at the very least document it well. _________________ 1977 Westy, Automatic. Big Valve heads, CS Cam. |

The main harness I bought looks like it only has connectors to the fuse panel for all the under dash wiring nightmare. Does anyone make a “harness” that would allow me to keep the right colored wires going to all the different gauges and switches?
I don’t mind making new wiring. But I’d love to keep the stock colors in case I have to do anything down the line for it.
