76 Westy Sink Faucet Shore Water Question

I've searched the forums and haven't found the answer to my question, though I might've missed something. Though my bus is a standard it has the sink and fridge out of a Deluxe, so it has the faucet with the shore inlet but it wasn't connected. In preparation for hooking up the shore inlet I pulled the faucet apart to replace the washer on the shore knob and found that the shore inlet is a dead end. I can't for the life of me figure out how the shore water is supposed to get to the faucet. I hooked everything up and it doesn't work.

Is there something I'm missing? Am I an idiot? Or both?

Yes I have a tank and that works fine. But when I hook up shore water and open the knob, no water. And inside the faucet I see no passage for shore water to enter the spigot.

Are you turning on the pump knob to try to get shore water?

Or turning the little lever to the right of the faucet?

I’m turning the knob on the right — the one I replaced the washer on. When I has it opened I could blow through the inlet with the knob and stem removed, and there’s no passage out of that side.
