Hey guys,

I sat down with fellow VW overlanders @SyncroTravels to hear about what happened when they drove their '91 VW Syncro from Germany to India (the hard way!)

This was a fascinating story, so I wanted to create something to share with the rest of the VW community.

The conversation gets really good, so I hope you enjoy it.

no worries - I'm sure it is valuable to a small niche group of us VW / camping nutters Laughing

I really enjoyed their no BS style of travel series too. It was great to watch their adventure and all the issues they overcame with their Syncro

Thanks for posting, Ben. I wish I knew half as much about the mechanical workings of my Syncro as Steffen. I found it interesting that they jettisoned the spare tire(s) completely and just planned to repair the flat. I was about to install a rear spare carrier but now having second thoughts. I highly recommend watching the interview. Great questions Ben and nice introduction to two good (and brave) people with an extraordinary story. I need to check out their videos.
