Does anyone have any pointers when looking at the rubber suspension bushings? Any specific measurements or wear marks? I haven't noticed any specific issues driving my Bug, but I'm learning what to look for if I need to replace them. |

If they're original, they've aged and should be replaced. If they've been replaced, they most likely aren't the same quality as original. All you can do is look for slop. _________________ '69 Beetle

You can get decent rubber bushings for the rear spring plates from Westcoast Metric but I've never found a good source for rubber front Super Beetle bushings. I've tried, but they've never lasted even a year and I've had to replace them w/the urethane ones.
If anyone has a US-based source for these w/proven quality....would be worth a shot. _________________ Eventually, "we are what we pretend to be.’”
