| Thanks Everett. I figured it came from an ad that highlighted the fact that you couldn't "boil over" a VW like many cars of that era were prone to do. |

Those Doyle Dane Bernbach ads were genius. I know they worked on me when I bought a 67 bug back in 67. One of my favorites was “ Live below your means”
