thanks, this was my only car for six years or so..and my daily during this time.
still own it but it needs me to throw some money at it. it's just fiberglass on a '67 pan. but at least it isn't rusting.
it was bought new as a kit in '79 and I am the 3rd owner. |

Work truck caddy, currently parked while I get the rabbit sorted out.
Rusty race car
120v EV caddy. Will get much lighter li-ions next year.
T-181 I've had since high school, patiently awaiting my money.
And one B5S4 Audi (almost a VW, almost...)
Yes I know, I'm a hoarder... Good thing I don't own a bigger space to store more cars! _________________ 1986 Canadian Syncro Westy TDI - 1989 Syncro Single Cab - 2001 Audi S4 - 1981 VW Caddy ABA - 1980 VW Caddy EV - 1973 VW T-181 |

Moderators: I know the last thread like this got locked, but could we please consider keeping this one open? This is a community we have here on this forum and it's fun/insightful to see what VWs our Vanagon friends on here have.

My '72 Bug. Gave it to my #1 son who thought it needed to be lowered. Next time he went to get it "smogged" it wouldn't run on the dyno without hitting his stinger pipe. Had to put air shocks on it so he could smog it. It's currently down getting a new Freeway Flyer installed. Very nice body and interior.
Kids:
And then there's the "dune buggy". Bought it already pretty well hacked. Mostly it's just a fun father/son project with that added benefit of being almost worthy as a dune cruiser at Glamis. (Note the application of truck bedliner on the body. Kind of a neat effect for an off-roader. Pity the fool who wants it off there).
The good news is that he's a VW guy from an early age. I think it'll stick.
Speaking of which, this Jetta was his first car:
