Looking for advice before I have to cut things up. The connectors on my early round tail lights are broken and brittle and need replacing. Does anyone sell the connectors to replace? Otherwise I was considering cutting and installing a modern connector. Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

I have these on my bus and they are an excellent upgrade to a traditional bulb. They are bright even during the day.

FWIW you can 3D print replacements and heat staked them on. I did this and it Worked good. In the end i switched to LED.

late '60 - '61 taillights suck. The plastic gets brittle and breaks.

I have used '57-'60 taillights and then fold back the two tabs holding screw terminal guts in, and then put spade terminal guts from a '62-'71 taillight in it. Then I use a hose clamp to hold a ground wire to the barrel, so I get a good ground without drilling any holes. All bolt on using stock parts. (the hose clamp will not work on '61 taillights.)

The LEDs are good too.

Thanks for the suggestions. In keeping with my normal traditions, I'll mess around with it until I get frustrated and order the LED's
Thanks again
