My passenger mirror doesn't adjust, although I can hear the clutch clicking and the mirror works properly connected to 12v. All the wires have continuity from the driver's side except the black wire. I've been able to trace the black wire back to the connector (labeled T3a in Bentley 97.186) where there is continuity with the passenger mirror but not the driver's side. There appears to be another connector (T4) said to be under the instrument panel. Any idea where I might find this?

I have the same problem with my PS mirror, but I haven't tackled it yet. I would look behind the fuse box. That's where a door lock connector is and you can follow the wires from the door.
