SO yesterday was taking the samba for a run around town and after about a hour give or take we were running up a hill and she slowed down as expected but then when going down the hill she was throwing white smoke out the exhaust bad. I pulled over and checked the engine there was oil around the engine compartment. and add3ed some oil as it was needed. I let her cool down then cranked her again and white smoke was coming out the exhaust and wanted to get her in a shopping cent was loosing the torque and would smoke out the engine bay while at a mid range rpm. got her towed home and this morning I started her up and she was sluggish when reving her up but then she got to her high rpm and there was no smoke. I am baffled any help would be great. Thank you
