Ancient Hebmuller factory in Wülfrath/Germany will be scrapped

Today in local newspaper "Westdeutsche Zeitung": The industrial estate in Wülfrath/Germany which contains some of the ancient HEBMULLER production halls was sold and all will totally be demolished for the erection of new halls.
On the occasion of the beforelast international Karosserie-Hebmuller meeting Aug. 23 and 24, 2014 organised by the Hebmuller family the comunity had had the occasion to visit the old production sites where the famous Hebmuller convertible was built. Some pics of that happening attached.

Looks like it was used for other "newer" things in the past. WOW, just WOW!

The equipment is amazing. Siempelkamp Presses are eye candy. I work in a industry that uses 2500 ton presses. Siempelkamp Still comes up in conversation. I’d assume they are still on business.

I got the news today that dozers and cranes are on the move. Soon all is gone for ever. Got a live report from the factoryground in a video call.. can not share it as not recorded. The factory as known today( yesterday) was built after the big fire on 23 july 1949.

Another newspaper feature, dd Oct. 27,2021. Former plant workers were visiting the ex-Hebmuller/then Ford industrial area before it will be completely demolished/extincted.
