Quick and easy sliding door handle “repair”

The sliding door latch/pin on our van was occasionally not releasing fully, and the outside handle also seemed a bit loose. I removed the inner door panel and found the screw for the outside handle just needed tightening. Checked the inside handle as well (it was tight). Now we get a crisp release each time!

TIP: Make sure you have also cleaned and serviced all the rolling contacts on the door for smooth operation.
