Hi guys I’m going to run a 1600 single port in my 68 with a dual relief case but use the stock 1500 cooler,fan housing,correct 205m distributor 30 pict 2 carb and pierburg square top pump.anyways would I be ok using the non late (71+) cooling system or do I need to use it?I plan on the tennis ball trick as well..thanks |

I would use a dog house shroud and fan. With the decklid up you'll never know and the engine will run it's best.

If the '68 fan and shroud don't provide adequate cooling I would look for the reason first. If you must buy a fan and shroud, then yes, doghouse will be the way to go. _________________ '73 super. |
