Hi Vanagon diesel folks,
I'm looking for the person who makes/sells those custom made driver's side engine mounts/brackets that clear the 1Z AHU turbos in the stock position. As I recall. there were a few vendors selling them, but I cant find them at this moment.
If anyone knows who sells them please be in touch

If I remember correctly, It was a vendor across the pond, either brickwerks or tristar connection. |

I wonder if you are talking about an engine support arm that looks like this:
A batch was made by someone out of Oregon, I bought one in 2015 and paid too much for it since it was about the last one made. Unfortunately a few years later I discovered a weld coming apart on the engine plate, but fortunately it was only a crack and I had it welded up professionally. He also added a triangular reinforcement to it.
This arm has the advantage of not taking up much space, leaving room for exhaust and turbo access.
