^^Good advice. Here is more information on unused medication direct from the USFDA. It describes approved methods of disposal, including toilet and trash, where applicable. Be safe folks. Or listen to talk show hosts

About 6 months after I had heart surgery I went through the unused drugs I had around the house. Oh my! The street value of the extra opiates would have paid for a fun weekend out of town! I took it all to the pharmacy for disposal.

Jacks, where is that link for USFDA? I'm thrilled I deposited 10 years or more of old meds and tons of vitamins. I now have more room for canned goods
