All,

Has anyone seen one or built one for a Bay Window Bus? I’ve seen them for Bugs.

Not saying I want one. However, I do find them interesting.

Would love to see some pics.

Thanks

Billy

Gotta love that 70’s etching around edges of the deck lid. I remember etching all kinds of Rock and Roll Album Covers onto mirrors in the the late 70’s.

Thanks…

I made a Lexan windshield for my Superbeetle:

I took a stock windshield.
Put it in a powder-coating oven and let it heat up.
Then laid a piece of Lexan on top of it for a few minutes until it draped over the glass. Then removed it all from the oven an let cool.
Worked well. Took a few tries to get the temp just right. Pre-heating the glass was important.

It's weird that word Volkswagen on the rear window sticker and the etching are both spelled incorrectly Rolling Eyes

Technically speaking, that's not a mullet, that's an early 80's rocker do, same with the shoes and tight jeans, classic 80's. Mullets didn't come along until the 90's, and they're characterized by shorter bangs and much shorter, often "buzzed" sides. Just sayin' Smile

Ah the 80s, the dawn of butt rock. Also the girl behind him has a mile high perm, the higher the hair the closer to god, as we used to say.
