it all started 16 years ago when I first saw this car in Austria barn
and was finally able to buy it week ago
it has damage in driver side .accident and bad repair done many years ago
was in trafic only from 1954 to 1966 and is pretty solid from under
was in dry barn for 25 years
and has mostly OG factory paint with nice patina
and very complete car with only few parts missing

I found 19 front brake cylinder on car and I suppose there should be 22
is it correct that all BDs have same 22 as on picture on front brakes ?

Early cylinders are 2 bolt
Late cylinders are 4 bolt

Verrrry nice indeed ! even the pinstriping is still visible in some places.
When you register this in Czech Republic, please make sure to advice the office about the importance of having original papers with bus, so you can keep the historical og title, or at least make good copies or scans if they need to be destroyed. _________________ Hotrods, Fords, Veedubs and Triumph Twins !

From my understanding, Austrian delivered Barndoors should have a red brake light lens ( whereas other countries could have amber/orange).
Good to know you are keeping the original title with the bus. I think those early titles, issued by Porsche Salzburg are really nice documents to have, especially since they tell the complete owners and registration history. _________________ Hotrods, Fords, Veedubs and Triumph Twins !
