Beautiful bus. Why does it have a headliner? Was that added after or special ordered? I didn't think kombis could have a cloth headliner, only hardboard panel as an option. |

Looks to me like it has been added a later point in it's life as it doesn't quite match an og headliner. The furthest forward seam on an og headliner almost meets the A pillars, but this one sits further back, lining up with the back of the quarter lights. There also looks like an extra seam over the cab area compared to original headliners
Regardless, it's pretty damn cool. I certainly wouldn't be pulling it out. _________________

yeah I think it is NOT from vw factory but some company done it later
it will stay there even with holes of course |

I managed to find 2 nice 9/54 wheels for my 10/54bus
looks like OG factory paint - grey color ..
I suppose all dove blue combis had white wheels
and those grey ones were on grey cars only
but I will use them because of perfect condition

Wow, that repair looks very impressive! Nice you were able to get those dents out while saving the original metal, it looked very wrinkled in some places.
I assume you'll do some paint blending on those panels, or not? |
