hello-
ive looked around for a similar topic but i have only found threads about shipping whole cars. im starting this thread to ask about how you guys ship, what youve had success with and what to avoid. if there is one help me to find it please.
i have a 36 hp engine case im looking to ship to another member within the continental USA. im going to go and enquire and USPS and FEDex. they are close. ill report back with my findings.
i figure we could all stand to benefit from our shared experience. what have you shipped? who did you use? what did it cost? how long did it take? were you happy? _________________ november 1952 ragtop

Beware of FedEx, I bought a new air compressor from a well known company last summer. It shipped 3 times, all 3 vanished without a trace. The company I bought from said they wouldn't ship another unit to me and since they had an exclusive contract with FedEx they couldn't use another carrier. I ended up buying the same compressor from a factory distributor in Buffalo. It shipped UPS, I had it in 3 days. |
