Can anybody offer advice for reproducing the stitched seam shown in the pic below?

I would have thought a curved needle would do it, after the panels are stuck in place...

the fabric between the glass and interior panel, is that the same as the headliner fabric? If not, what is it?

This B Post fabric has been machine sewn to the panel under the rear side window & there is usually a hand or "Blind stitched" seam in line with the top of the rear seat back (to help conceal it) to the larger headliner side section.
There will also be another hand stitched seam at the top of the B Post material to the headliner. Simple, but very effective.

The joint shown has seat material for the B piller. When did this change to headliner material I have Oct Zwitter Thanks
