Hi all,
Quick question. I'm restoring a 52 deluxe crotch cooler. Not sure if the front screen should have chrome trim or not? Purchased seal without but not sure now. Looked at numerous cars & undecided. Can you help clarify with or without
Thanks Dave |

After April 13th, 1951, chrome around the front window. _________________ CH³NO²

And to add, the seal and trim was different than later ones from the oval/zwitter era onward. The split trim had steel clips that fit into the groove on the rubber seal and the chrome strip attached to the clips.

The above reproductions are available but you can use the oval window rubber and chrome strip.
Unless someone is really looking, it is hard to tell the difference. If you want it to be 100% correct you will need to use the above repro parts, otherwise just use the commonly available, and cheaper, oval parts. _________________ Chris
